The Story Behind Dollyhotdogs
Dollyhotdogs is a proudly British brand that designs and produces its products here in the UK. The collection is inspired by the beautiful scenery and produce of Devon, resulting in vibrant kitchenware and thoughtful gifts.
Dollyhotdogs began with artist Michelle, who has a passion for still life and food illustration. Since graduating in 2005, Michelle has created illustrations for book publishers, graphic designers and magazines. Living in Devon, she draws inspiration from the beautiful scenery and local produce around her, which eventually led to the creation of the Dollyhotdogs range of giftware and kitchen textiles.
After being friends for a number of years, Kate joined Michelle to help develop the business further. With a background in marketing and business development, Kate helps manage and grow the brand, giving Michelle more time to focus on creating her distinctive artwork.
Together, their vision for Dollyhotdogs is to produce bold and beautiful home furnishings, textiles and giftware that bring the charm of the Devon coast and countryside into the home.
