Madeline This is a beautiful mirror. But we bought it to hang in a landscape position not in portrait. And the holes to hang on the back are only one directional- at the top of the narrow side. It took lots of work and other bits to work out how to hang such a heavy mirror in the other direction. I would hope the designers would have thought in advance about providing two ways to hang, like most picture frames are done.
